i felt like doing something different

hb mechanical pencil, around 30 minutes

photo reference obviously used, some proportion tweaks in photoshop.

i kinda screwed up the left eye, so it kinda looks like im all derpy cross-eyed. i still like this though

i should do more portraits, i need to stop fucking around and draw something else than furfaggotry

And you say you can't draw humans? BS! The perspective looks stunning, especially from this angle. I just cannot stop looking at the eyes. The emotion held within is more compelling than a black hole.

And as for your introspection, the cross-eyed-ness only came out when I tried to look at it that way. Really, there is just too much ambiguity in the left eye to really discern where he is critically vectoring to. (from my perspective it gave off the appearance of distant thought.)
