Solifugae - prologueA small bird flickered its blue feathers on top of a dry branch, staring at the mid-spring sun above. The smell of growing leaves blended with the fainter smell of rocks, grass and dirt, which covered the surrounding landscape.
No worms or other appetizing prey in sight, figures the poor sapphire-coloured fellow would have to look elsewhere. And he did, leaping off the branch and flapping its tiny wings towards the warm sun, leaving a small trail of floating feathers on its path.

This is for a friend of mine. A drawing of her furcadia character, that i promised oh, like 5 or 7 years ago. So in that time, i also forgot the character description, so i had, to the best of my ability, grasp at memories to try and visualize the character.

I also fucked around a bit with the coloring and effects, just for the hell of it.
